St. Gerard Catholic Church is blessed to have the Fowler Organ (Opus V). This pipe organ was initially built in 1983 by the Fowler Organ Company in Lansing. In 2005, when the parish building was renovated extensive work was done to relocate and preserve the organ while still ensuring the best acoustic experience for the congregation.
The instrument is a three manual with twenty-six ranks. Forty-two ranks have been prepared for future completion. When completed the Fowler organ will have over 1,590 pipes!
In 2015, more work was completed on the organ when a new facade was completed. This work allowed for the organ to stay in tune more reliably and also installed a new LED lighting system for the organ console.
