Amazing Parish Conference

This week Tuesday and Wednesday five pastoral staff members of St. Gerard will attend a conference entitled Amazing Parish. Though there is much to praise about St. Gerard I am always looking for the next best idea, new insight, or more enlightened vision to keep us moving toward the kind of parish Christ would want us to become.

At the Conference we’ll hear about parishes that are successful and effective in communicating Christ and his message. We’ll reflect on how to become better evangelizers and how to help form committed disciples. There will also be time for planning and considering how St. Gerard can best grow into a community ever more passionate about sharing God’s word and more adept at forming disciples.

Pray for the members of the Pastoral Staff attending the Conference and for St. Gerard Parish. May God’s spirit lead us to new heights of grace.
