All Saints Day

All Saints’ Day, a holy day, falls on a Sunday this year, therefore our Sunday Masses will observe the feast of All Saints’. This feast day reminds us that we are all called to holiness, we are all capable of being saints. In anticipation of next Sunday’s All Saints’ Day observance, call to mind the saintly people who have been part of your life. Who comes to mind? In your life has there been a parent, grandparent, teacher, sibling, godparent, fellow parishioner, partner or friend who has lived an inspiring, credible Christ-like life? Let them remind you of what God calls us all to, and what human beings are capable of. May you and I one day be on someone’s list of the saintly people who have made a difference.
