**Due to COVID-19 the Parish Choir will not resume until September 8th, 2021**
The St. Gerard Parish Choir is comprised of nearly fifty singers who love to sing and praise God together. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 pm in the church. The musical style is eclectic, combining composers of the great classical tradition such as Mozart and Schubert along with newer styles such as the music of John Rutter, Dan Forrest and the spirituals of Moses Hogan.
Our Parish choir typically sings at the 11 AM Mass on Sunday morning. Their role in the liturgy is to enrich the celebration of the mass by adding musical elements such as harmony and selected parts of the mass in dialogue with the congregation.
Reading music is not a pre-requisite to joining the St. Gerard Parish Choir. All are welcome!
